The awards will be held at a presentation party at 3:30pm on Tuesday 17th November, the first day of the Food Matters Live event at Excel in London’s Docklands.
The presentations will be made by awards patron Antony Worrall Thompson and will mark the first year of the awards since the introduction of the new EU regulations covering foodservice in December.
Michelle Berriedale-Johnson, awards director, said: “It is great to see how many outlets from all across the country have now got their heads around the new allergen regulations and are already creating exciting, innovative and super healthy ‘freefrom’ menus.
“From the local chippie to the five star restaurant or the high street chain, coeliacs and those with allergies and intolerances do now stand a realistic chance of being served not only a safe, but a really tasting and interesting meal.”
