Chef de Partie – Job Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Chef de Partie to join our team of talented culinary professionals. In this role, you’ll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional food experiences across a wide range of events and venues. This is a varied, fast-paced position ideal for someone who thrives in a creative and collaborative environment.

Due to the nature of the role and potential travel between venues across North Yorkshire, access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes across multiple sections

Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards

Assist in the setup, delivery, and breakdown of events

Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen team members and apprentices

Complete prep tasks efficiently in line with event briefs

Contribute creative input to menu development using seasonal produce

Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and help reduce food waste

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a professional kitchen (ideally in events, banqueting, or large-scale catering)

NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent (preferred)

Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations

Calm and adaptable under pressure

Excellent communication and teamworking skills

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours in line with event schedules
