Sous Chef – Retail, London £40k Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef for our client’s site based in The City of London.

Working for a leading contract caterer, the catering department has both staff dining and corporate hospitality. The staff restaurant is busy and offers a variety of food concepts including a popular street food section, international cuisine, grab and go and deli bar.

As the Sous Chef, you will be
* responsible for running the kitchen for the staff dining
* lead, manage and develop the team ensuring a smooth service and good working environment
* up to date on food trends and concepts as there is a strong focus on these within the menu
* working to drive the business forward

Working hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Our ideal candidate would be
* a strong Sous Chef level with a proven work history
* experienced within corporate catering or a similar environment
* able to lead, manage and motivate a team whilst working as a team player
* up to date with the latest food trends and concepts with particular attention to street food
* able to produce exciting food using fresh ingredients and produce
* attentive to detail and presentation
* strong in communication and organizational skills
* friendly and willing with a positive can do attitude
