Evening Sous Chef, City of London, £36k

Great opportunity for an enthusiastic Evening Sous Chef to join our clients’ team at this corporate site based in EC1, London.

The site has a high volume staff restaurant offering a breakfast, lunch and evening service, as well as extensive hospitality including PDR, fine dining, canapé functions, events and buffets
All food across both departments is freshly prepared using high quality ingredients and produce.

As the Evening Sous Chef, you will be
* Responsible for the prep, cooking and overseeing the evening service
* Managing the kitchen team
* Working closely with the Exec Chef

Working hours are Monday to Friday, approx. 12:00 – 8pm

As an ideal candidate, you will be
* An experienced Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years work history at this level
* Accustomed to working in a corporate, B&I environment
* Able to lead and manage a team
* Genuinely passionate about food and ingredients with an eye for detail and presentation
* Able to think rationally and solve problems in a clear and practical manner
* Able to demonstrate knowledge of current food trends and concepts
* Friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
