Retail Head Chef
We are recruiting for a passionate, keen and motivated Head Chef to join our client’s team based in EC3, London’s Square Mile.
Located in a prestigious and stunning site, the kitchen caters for both staff and hospitality producing high end food on both levels.
As the Head Chef, you will be
* responsible for the day to day running and management of the kitchen for staff dining
* creating new and innovative concepts to be ahead of competition
* working alongside the Exec Chef to constantly evolve the food offer
* driving, encouraging and involving your team with creativity and food trends
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (daytime only)
As a candidate, you will be
– a Head Chef or Senior Sous with a proven work history
– experienced within a high volume kitchen ideally with contract catering B&I or similar
– genuinely passionate about food and ingredients
– up to date with current food trends and concepts
– able to lead, manage and motivate a team as well as work as a team player
– financially aware, able to manage a budget and costs
– flexible and willing with a positive, can do attitude
