Our client is looking for a Relief Chef Manager to cover various sites around the M25 working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week. This would be ideal for a person looking for progression to step up into a Managerial Role from a Chef background.
The client requires a person who is experienced preferably within Contract Catering, who can cover staff absences and holidays who can work with the Operations team to ensure all standards are maintained across the business whether this be in service or within another area. You will have the full responsibility of the site where you are working so you will need to be financially aware, adhere to all legislation and who has a proven track record on managing a team.
To be considered for the role
*You will require your own transport
*Have a proven track record within Contract Catering and Managed a team previously
*Be able to adapt easily to various settings and communicate at all levels
*Report weekly financials by a P&L, oversee stock management
*Be accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S and Environmental policies
*Be proactive with a ‘hands on’ approach
*Maintain standards at all times
*Help with the preparation of daily / weekly orders for both B.O.H and F.O.H
*Practice and promote effective teamwork and communication amongst your teams
