We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GP Practice Nurse to join our team at Lifeline Recruitment. If you are a dedicated healthcare professional committed to providing exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you!

As a preferred supplier to NHS based organisations, we are looking to expand our team of Practice Nurse to fill temping sessions provided to us by our extensive client database. These roles are in multiple locations and for multiple different opportunities (hours and days etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver comprehensive Nursing care to patients under the guidance of general practitioners.
– Conduct health assessments, administer vaccinations, and assist with minor medical procedures.
– Manage chronic disease management programs and support patients in their healthcare journeys.
– Liquid cytology/Smear tests
– Provide health education and counselling to patients and their families.
– Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
– Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
– Uphold infection control protocols and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Requirements:
– Registered Nurse qualification with relevant licensing and certifications.
– Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting is required.
– Experienced in using EMIS Web or System one (CRM systems)
– Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a diverse range of medical conditions.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
– Empathy and understanding towards patients’ needs and concerns.
– Proficient computer skills for accurate record-keeping and data management.
