They have disrupted the traditional healthcare model with their self-pay solution for diagnosis and treatment.
They are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join this growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Consultant’s practice, encompassing tasks such as audio-typing clinical and non-clinical materials, confidential reports, and sensitive information.
– Facilitate patient admissions, conduct requests for investigations, and retrieve test results through clinical data systems. Promptly alert the Consultant to any results of an abnormal or urgent nature.
– Efficiently handle all forms of correspondence and telephone communications with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
– Maintain precise and organized patient records, including meticulous case note filing, and ensure the preparation of relevant clinic notes ahead of Outpatient Clinics.
– Leverage the clinic CRM system to accurately document patient communication, ensuring effective record-keeping.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous Medical Secretarial experience is a prerequisite, with 5 years of experience being highly preferred.
* A strong command of medical terminology, preference being with those with this knowledge being in the field of Orthopaedics.
* Exceptional attention to detail, proficient typing skills, and the ability to proof read documents with accuracy.
* Proficiency in computer operations, including experience with systems such as Semble or similar platforms like DGL and E-clinic.
* Excellent audio typing skills to efficiently transcribe medical documents.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

– Be willing to work across medial services rather than one cons only
– Be able to adapt to changes to services and implementation of new services
