Hospitality/Fine Dining Sous Chef
Recruiting for an experienced and talented Hospitality Sous Chef to join our client’s team based at this prestigious site in Central London.
Working within the busy hospitality department, the food produced here is of the highest quality and ranges from working lunches to canapés and site down formal dinners. All food is freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients and presentation is essential.
As the Sous Chef, you will
* work closely with the Head Chef in running the hospitality catering
* be involved with menu and dish creation as well as tastings and client presentations
* assist with managing the team
* able to take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week with some evenings as required
As a candidate, you will be
* at Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie level with a proven career background
* experienced within contract catering hospitality or a fine dining restaurant
* able to manage, lead and motivate a team
* attentive to detail and presentation
* creative and genuinely passionate about food and ingredients
* up to date with current trends and concepts
* keen, enthusiastic and willing with a flexible, positive and can do attitude
