We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at this corporate site based in the City of London.
Catering for a busy staff restaurant as well as hospitality, you as the Head Chef will lead, manage and motivate a team of 5. Working alongside the General Manager, you will drive the business as well as ensure the food standards remain high and meet the clients’ expectations.
Using seasonal ingredients, you will be able to create menus based on current trends and concepts as well as adapting for healthy options.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (some evenings as required)
Our ideal candidate would
-Be at Head Chef level or a strong Sous Chef currently in a large operation
-Have a proven and stable work background
-Be a strong manager with the ability to lead, manage and develop a team as well as a team player
-Be financially aware and able to manage budget and GP
-Be passionate about food and ingredients with a knowledge of trends/concepts
-Have an eye for detail and presentation
-Have good communication and organizational skills
-Have a friendly and positive manner as well a can do attitude
