We are currently recruiting for a talented, creative and enthusiastic Exec Chef to join our clients’ team based at their stunning modern Japanese restaurant based in London’s West End.

With the food focusing on modern Japanese cuisine, the menu show cases seasonal, high quality ingredients with traditional Japanese flavours as well as premium sashimi, the finest sushi and stunning signature platters as well sumibayaki dishes.

As the Exec Chef, you will have a strong knowledge and passion for contemporary Japanese cuisine. You will be experienced in creating stunning menus using the finest ingredients as well as having an exceptional eye for detail. With a large team of chefs, you will be a strong leader and mentor as well as being hands on.

Working hours are 7 shifts per week, approx. 50 hours.

Our ideal candidate would
-Be at Exec Chef or Head Chef level with a proven work history
-Have worked within premium high volume kitchens
-Have strong knowledge of Japanese/Pan Asian cuisine and flavours
-Have exceptional culinary skills with the ability to create stunning menus
-Have a passion for contemporary Japanese cuisine
-Be a strong leader with the proven ability to mentor and guide your team
-Have an exceptional eye for detail and presentation
-Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
-Have excellent communication and organisational skills
