One of our Clients prestigious contracts is requiring an experienced Chef De Partie to join their team to produce outstanding food using the finest of ingredients based within a corporate environment working Monday – Friday.
The opportunity is for the Chef De Partie to join a great team within Staff Dining producing high end and high quality food whilst having a great eye for detail. You will have the opportunity to support in the creation of exciting menu concepts, therefore gaining experience for your progression. You will also need to help cover in the absence of the Sous and Head Chef At times, you will be required to help with the progression of the junior team members, have a full understanding of Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCAP
To be considered for this role you will need
*Ideally, you will have NVQ level 1 or 2 or equivalent
*Proven experience as a chef within Contract Catering in a high volume site
*Self-motivated with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
*Have a ‘Can-Do’ approach
*Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety
*Great customer service skills
*A team player
