Chef Manager, B&I NE27 Newcastle, £40k

This busy site provides a catering service for staff and hospitality as well as a Starbucks coffee bar. All food is freshly prepared and menus based on modern trends and concepts.

As the Chef Manager, you will
* Be fully responsible for the running of the catering operation
* Lead and manage a team of 4 as well as be hands on
* Produce fresh modern food for both staff dining and hospitality requirements
* Oversee the Starbucks coffee
* Be client facing – building and maintaining a good working relationship with the client as well as customers

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am – 3.30/4pm, 40 hours per week

Our ideal candidate would be
* An existing Chef Manager or Head Chef looking to step up
* Experienced within B&I or contract catering
* Able to lead and manage a team as well as hands on
* Strong in communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
* Client facing with a strong presence
* Financially aware
* Attentive to detail and presentation
* Adaptable, flexible with a positive attitude
