Assistant Hotel General Manager, 5* hotel, Inverness £35k

Recently transformed, this luxury 5* hotel, based in the heart of Inverness, offers an outstanding level of guest service where it is all about the guests and ensuring the highest of service possible. This small, luxury hotel caters for residents only and offers an afternoon tea service as well as a cocktail service.

You as the Assistant Hotel General Manager, will be THE ULTIMATE PEOPLE PERSON – passionate, enthusiastic and above all, keen to help guests have the best guest experience.

Your main responsibilities will be
* Assisting with check in and check out
* Managing guest bookings for restaurant reservations and afternoon tea
* Advising guests of tours, entertainment, restaurants and booking these for them
* Working alongside the General Manager
* Responsible for maintaining high standards and ensuring guests satisfaction is more than exceeded
* Hands on in all areas as business requires

Working hours are 5/7 days on a rota

As an ideal candidate, you will be
* An Assistant General Manager or Duty Manager with a 5*/4* hotel background
* A people person with an infectious personality and a natural love for customer service
* Experienced with working in a small luxury hotel environment
* Able to lead, manage and motivate a small team
* Extremely hands on in all areas
* Guest focused with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
* Flexible and willing with a positive, can do attitude
